The beautiful landscape of the Ordesa National Park, a World Heritage Site since 1997, embodied in the watercolors of Pepe Cerdá inaugurates our cultural section of 2019.
Month after month we will continue to share with you the particular vision of this illustrious Aragonese painter and to which a great friendship has united us for years. If you missed it, you can see here a compilation of the 12 paintings that we shared in 2018.
Last summer, the Centennial of the National Park of Ordesa and Monte Perdido chose Pepe Cerdá and three other artists to organize the program “meeting points with cartoonists of nature” for four days to draw the most characteristic spaces of the National Park.
“A place too beautiful and picturesque to make a good painting,” explained Cerdá before the landscape of Ordesa, below the Tozal del Mallo.
