Joarjo’s commitment to internationalization has undoubtedly been one of the most successful and important strategic decisions of the company in these almost 65 years.
The Property, Mr. Armando Mozota, was clear about it and dedicated the necessary resources to promote this ambitious process to open new markets. His previous extensive experience in the Commercial Department of the company where he had expanded Joarjo’s client portfolio certainly helped. These results indicated that the future followed the internationalization.
This was key during the 2008 crisis. Joarjo had already been an exporter for years and was perhaps his main force at that time.
Today it still is. In 2020, even in unprecedented international circumstances, Joarjo continued to allocate its quality products from precision machining at its Zaragoza plant to the production processes of many companies around the world.
Now with Ms. Isabel Mozota at the helm, Joarjo maintains its export volume of 80% of production. “Joarjo has always exported. Poland is one of the countries where there are many multinationals that we work with, but we also work with other countries such as Brazil, Finland, which are also important.”
In fact, the 10 countries where Joarjo maintains its destinations in the production of precision machining are located not only in Europe, but also in South America and Asia.
Interactive Map: worldwide turnover volume (2020)
Poland was the main destination in 2020 (50.64%), followed by Spain (26.98%), in 2nd place, and Portugal (10.84%) closing the Top 3 in terms of sales volume. The rest of the international map of Joarjo last year is divided as follows: France (6.94%), Brazil (3.22%), England (1%), Czech Republic (0.14%), Finland (0.12 %), Korea (0.08%) and China (0.05%).
The case of China is a great satisfaction since this is such a competitive market and for having known how to find its own niche without sacrificing the quality that has always differentiated Joarjo.
With all this, internationalization is not a closed chapter. On the contrary, while the presence in these countries is strengthened, Joarjo will continue analyzing and working to enter new markets, new international clients with whom to start collaborating and make their projects come true.
Internationalization also represents an opportunity for personal and cultural enrichment. We remember, for example, the face-to-face meeting (pre-Covid) that took place at the Joarjo offices with a delegation from MAFLOW, from the Polish industrial group BORYSZEW, a customer and one of the largest manufacturers of ducts for air conditioning, power steering and active suspension. for the automotive industry.
After a guided tour of the plant, the international meeting revolved around joint development to optimize processes, procedures and establish synergies. This massive meeting was also attended by representatives of HYDRO Extrusion Spain, a company specialized in aluminum extrusion.
It should be noted that current circumstances have not prevented us from losing contact with customers or suppliers. Rather, for Joarjo it was an opportunity to invest in state-of-the-art telematics meeting facilitation technology.
And when we show our main clients and suppliers in our catalog, we do so without differentiating countries or continents, whether they are national or international. The reason is simple: they are all equally important to us.
For this reason, from here we thank all of them for their trust placed in our work during these years. In special to:
Delivering top-quality productions to clients like those above is also easier when you have top-notch national and international suppliers that you trust. Therefore, also our public thanks to our main suppliers.
