JOARJO collaborates in the international survey of the World Bank and these are the results

JOARJO has collaborated in the international study EBRD-EIB-WBG Enterprise Survey: SPAIN 2021, promoted by the World Bank, the European Commission, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the European Investment Bank.

This is a survey of Spanish companies that aims to find out their perception of the business climate in the environment in which they operate. In particular, analyzing the characteristics of the participating companies, and their assessment of areas such as infrastructures and services, sales and supplies, business management, competition, innovation, finances, relations with the public sector, human resources , or productivity, among others. Likewise, a specific module on the effects of the pandemic on companies and their activity is included.

The project is carried out in 139 countries around the world with a standardized methodology that allows the international comparison of the results.

In Spain specifically, the World Bank has partnered with the Spanish Chamber of Commerce to carry out this survey, based on interviews with 1,051 companies throughout Spain, according to their size, sector of activity and location. JOARJO was chosen from among the 140 companies representing the “manufacturing of metal products” sector.

This has allowed the preparation of the Specific Country Report for Spain 2021, which has been made public and we share it here in order to serve as a source of information for various agents such as research personnel, companies, the public sector, etc.

In the comparative study we highlight the good position in which JOARJO is, ranking among 21% of exporting manufacturing companies, 56% of companies that dedicate resources to training and among 18% of companies with a woman as director.

The project website allows access to country reports from around the world and by specific topics. A large database that JOARJO invites you to visit due to the great interest and richness of the data it shares.
