On the morning of Thursday, October 3, the Civil Guard honored its patron, the Virgin of the Pillar, with another massive ceremony in Zaragoza’s Plaza del Pilar ahead of the start of the festivities. Thousands of Zaragoza residents and tourists enjoyed a military parade, the display of various Civil Guard units and specialties, as well as the awarding of prizes and important decorations.

The event was attended by the President of the Government of Aragón, Jorge Azcón, the Government Delegate in Aragón, Fernando Beltrán, the Mayor of Zaragoza, Natalia Chueca, and the President of the Parliament of Aragón, Marta Fernández, along with other civil and military authorities who accompanied the Civil Guard agents.

Among the invited guests was Ms. Isabel Mozota (Owner of JOARJO), as another example of the close relationship that, generation after generation, has always existed between JOARJO and the Civil Guard. In fact, less than a month ago, JOARJO sponsored the 5th Popular Run of the Civil Guard in Zaragoza.
